Photos from the development and the official opening of the running track in Ballina, Co. Mayo. The track was officially opened by Michael Ring, Minister for Tourism and Sports while ex olympians John Treacy and Sonia O'Sullivan were also guest speakers on the day. The €600,000 development represents one of the best sporting facilities in the west of Ireland as the track is built to olympic standard and can now be used to host national and international competitions.
