Images from the landing of the 'Big Yoke' in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo. The decommissioned jumbo jet was transported by sea from Shannon in Co. Clare to Enniscrone in Sligo by means of a tug-boat and barge. The project is the brainwave of funeral director David McGowan in which he plans to open an airport themed glamping site in the small sea-side resort of Enniscrone in 2017. Huge crowds travelled from all across the country to witness the action and eventually, around 3am on Sunday morning the 8th May, the gigantic plane had reached it's final destination.
