Images from the Blacksod Olympic Triathlon which was organised by Kilmore Triathlon Club. The triathlon which is based on one of the toughest courses in the country consists of a 1.5km sea swim, a 40km bike route, finishing off with a 10km run. Held in one of the most scenic parts of the country, the Blacksod peninsula juts out into the wild atlantic ocean - next stop America. Liquid Motion's top athletes, Stephen Donnelly and Lorraine Carey dominated the race winning 1st place in both the male and female races. Results by www.coretiming.ie can be found here:
