Images from the Cutra Castle Triathlon in Co. Galway which was held on Sunday 29th May. Heavy fog lead to a 2 hour delay in the main race of the day, 'The Gauntlet' half distance ironman. Safety concerns forced the race organisers to replace the 1.9km swim with a 7km run, turning the race into a duathlon. By midday, the fog had well cleared and strong sunshine illuminated the beautiful setting at Lough Cutra for the rest of the day.
