Photos from the Lakeside sprint triathlon in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal which was hosted by MSC Tri Club. Over 150 competitors turned up on a beautiful sunny day to take part in the 750m lake swim, 20km bike leg and 5km run. The men from Sligo Triathlon Club dominated the males race taking all the podium places. 1st place Ciaran McCloskey was followed closely by younger brother Darragh, while Kevin McDonnell took the final podium place. Laura Tighe from J2P Coaching was the clear winner in the ladies race having a whooping 4 and a half minutes advantage over 2nd place Marie Boland. Tri 247's Triona McMenamin completed the podium.
